15 monks helped by a few local volunteers and teachers are taking care of over 600 children. 

They have very limited means, they grow rice which greatly helps to feed them all.

Orphans are coming from different ethnic groups and minorities from all over the country.

The place is very poor. It's not easy during the rain season...

There is a dormitory for the girls and one for the boys. The boys are sleeping just on the floor, the girls have beds but no mattresses.

Some of the children become novices and receive a more religious education. They will choose later on if they want to become monks or not.
